How to create a password reset disk on Windows 10

  1. Plug your USB drive or insert your **SD card* into your PC.
  2. Press Windows key + S on your keyboard to bring up the search bar.
  3. Type in User accounts.
  4. Click on User accounts.
    Press the Windows key + S, type in User accounts, and then click on user accounts.
  5. Click on Create a password reset disk.
  6. Click on Next
    Click on Create a password reset disk and then click on next
  7. Click on the dropdown menu.
  8. Click on the device you want the password reset disk to be created on.

  9. Type your local account password. This is your current password to log into your account on your PC.
  10. Click Next
    Type your local account password and then click next.
  11. Click Next once the progress bar reaches 100%.
  12. Click Finish.
    Click next and then click Finish.
Don't lose this USB drive or SD card, because anyone who has it can get into your account easily. Put it in a safe place, maybe thing about labeling it, and remember where you stashed it!
