How to use a password reset disk on Windows 10

So, you've forgotten your password, and the password hint you provided yourself with isn't working. Fear not, my friend, your password reset disk will save the day!
Before you start, make sure you have your SD card or USB drive inserted into your PC.
  1. Click Reset password.
  2. Click Next.
    Click on Reset password and then click next.
  3. Click on the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the device your password reset disk is located on.
    Click on the dropdown menu and then click on the device that has your password reset disk.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Type in a new password.
    Click on next and then type in a new password.
  7. Type in the new password again.
  8. Type in a password hint.
    Type in the new password again and then type in a password hint.
  9. Click Finish.
    Click Finish.
The password to your account has now been reset! You can log into your account with the new password you just created.
